Yes! It's super easy. Press the first layer on the garment, then once it's completed position the second layer where you need it to go. We recommend giving the shirt a little bit of time to cool first, otherwise if it's too hot the second layer could start gluing whilst you're still in the process of aligning the layer.
Absolutely! Any computer cutter machine that uses a blade can cut our HTV. Cricut is a very popular brand for at home crafts. There are also other machine on the market that you can get from eBay or other dealers.
We sell our cut HTV by the meter, or we can cut to a sheet size of 300mm x 510mm. Most desktop cutters will cut to a maximum width of 300mm wide, or 12 inches. Some will have a maximum pad size; others will have the ability to use longer sheets and have the excess material hang out the back of the machine.
We always recommend a heat press. Reason being is you can control the temperate and pressure to give you the same results every time.
That being said, you can use an iron. Set your iron to a temperature of about 140 degrees with no steam option.
Make sure you cover your transfer with another piece of fabric, don’t put the iron directly onto the vinyl as it may burn or damage the vinyl.
When pressing, make sure you can get a firm amount of pressure down on the transfer. Try to avoid moving the iron and keep it still. If the transfer is larger than the iron, do one part at a time. Lift the iron off the transfer, move to the next spot and press firmly. Make sure you remember what parts you’ve done so you don’t miss any.
Honestly, you don’t need anything to special. A cheap heat press from eBay will be sufficient to do what you need it to do. If you plan on doing a lot of pressing, it's much more time efficient to use a heat press.
When you look at the vinyl, there are 2 sides. The shiny side is the side you cut on. With computer cut HTV, you’re cutting the design on the adhesive side, this is why you cut your design in REVERSE.
This is important! Cut your design in reverse.
When you turn the transfer over to put it on the shirt, you want to be able to view it the correct way through the clear plastic film
